Cub Scouts

Our Cub Pack meets in two parts in Totton on Wednesday and Thursday nights.  Cub Scouts are aged 8 to 10½ and are the second section in Scouts..  Their programme follows on from the Beavers, but you do not need to have been a Beaver Scout to join.

Our Cubs enjoy a fun-packed programme aimed at developing their self-confidence, experiencing new and exciting activities and working towards a number of Challenge Awards.  Our Cub Pack takes part in District and County events, and also a Pack Summer Camp.  They even invite parents along to their Parents and Cubs Camps so they can experience Cub Camps for themselves.

There are opportunities to gain a wide range of Activity Badges, allowing them to develop their interests or try new things.  The Chief Scout’s Silver Award is reached when Cubs have gained six Activity Badges and completed the seven Challenge Awards.

At 10½ they can move up into the Scout Troop.     More information about joining our Cub Scout Pack can be found by contacting us using the WANT TO JOIN?  form.
