Building a new future - Weekend working parties

If you can hammer a nail, saw wood or push a broom, we want to hear from you!

We would like to run working parties on the new building at Testwood Lakes on 2 consecutive Saturdays 21st and 28th July. If this goes well, I would expect more similar sessions in future. The aim is to get on with a number of the basic tasks of insulation, boarding, painting etc., so that we only have to pay professionals for the jobs we don't have the specialist skills for ourselves. Please can you let us know at warrior.troop@gmail.com whether you would be able to come along to help on either or both days, so that we can prepare arrangements based on likely turnout. We will arrange someone to coordinate efforts each day - please indicate if you have building work experience such that you might be able to take a leading role. Be prepared to come along with basic tools (saws, tape measures, pencils, electric screwdrivers, paint brushes and paint buckets...) and in clothes suitable for this kind of work. Once we know who to expect we will send out some details of times etc.

Thank you all for your support.
