Emily Townrow and Lewis Brown from Relentless Explorers were taking part in the first ever meeting of the Hampshire Scout Youth Council when Bear dropped in unannounced on their breakfast session. Lewis and Emily were able to ask Bear about his Scouting experiences and activities during his brief visit to Hampshire. Flic Wright (ex Warrior Troop & Relentless) from NFN Pegasus Network, welcomed Bear to the site when his helicoptor touched down and accompanied him as he toured the site, coaching youngsters on the high ropes courses and meeting with a very surprised Eureka Jamboree Unit who were camping for the weekend."

Alex spent several hours visiting the Groups taking part, talking with the youngsters and Leaders, before presenting prizes to the winners.  Commenting on the venue, Alex said what a fantastic facility the lakes were, and looked forward to seeing the new Aquativity Centre once it was completed.  Despite the windy weather which played havoc with some of the starts, a full programme of races were run.
